Our Mission
At Essential Blessings, our mission is to provide personal care items to those in need.
How we do this
We attend events throughout Lansing with blessing bags already filled with items and many items to make a bag of your own
Our Impact
Every month we help about 100 people to get the basic care items they need. We also distribute over 100 meals to local encampments.

MEET OUR BOARD
Michelle Gondal - Founder and President
Michelle is a faithful Christ follower. She attends Trinity Church and Celebrate Recovery.
She came to Michigan in 2019 after a period of homelessness in Maryland. In 2020 a grant of $500 was used to make the first 20 blessing bags. Since then God has used this ministry to help 100s of people.
Michelle was blessed to go on global mission Hungary and Romania
Beth Bordayo
Beth works at PHP in Lansing. She is married to Richard and between them have four adult daughters. Beth attends Trinity Church
Chevelle Brandt
Chevelle is a God fearing mother of four in long term recovery, she is a light and a chain breaker. She works at both Lifeboat and Trinity Church where she is also a member.
Brenda Greene
Brenda is a daughter of the most high. She attends Bretton Woods Covenant Church. She is active in her widows group and has decades of recovery. She loves going to worship concerts and in the summer you can find her on the lake with her family.
Paula Hatcher
Paula is in a relationship with Jesus. She is an overcomer, prayer warrior, and Praise and worship lover. Jesus has healed her of abuse, alcohol and drug addiction and a life filled with self hatred. She is married to Michael Hatcher and they both attend Faith Fellowship Baptist Church in Lansing.
Joni Manning
Joni is a grateful believer in Jesus Christ. She attends Trinity Church and serves as a leader in Celebrate Recovery. She is recovering from the past abuse in her life. Through the grief of losing her husband , she joined other women from around the country to form Grief's Healing Choices. It is an online support group to help guide people through the grieving journey.
